“My own eyes are not enough for me, I will see through those of others,” remarked C.S. Lewis. “In reading great literature I become a thousand men and yet remain myself.”

The Park Forum Summer Reading Series is designed to equip our growing community with book suggestions that can shape faith, sharpen cultural insight, and spark conversations between readers and their communities.

Each day we will feature a book, suggested from our community, and publish a short excerpt. For samples of last year’s series, look at God and the Public SquareRulers: Gospel and Government and Small is Beautiful: Economics as if People Mattered.
